From its earliest days to the present, TI's leaders have possessed remarkable vision, focus and a commitment to the highest standards of business conduct. They have taken risks, encouraged creativity and transformed ideas into innovations that shape our world.

TI is also indebted to several other figures who played key roles in the company’s early days as Geophysical Service Inc. (GSI): H. Bates Peacock, one of four GSI managers who purchased the business in 1941; John Clarence Karcher, a co-founder of GSI who pioneered reflection seismography; and Everette L. DeGolyer, who financed the creation of GSI in 1930.
